OneLife’s Agritech division has penned an expansive 39 million dollar contract with the Autonomous Council Of Garo Hills to introduce Israeli Agricultural techniques and technology to the region. It is regenerative agriculture that ensures that no earth harming chemical farming is done and that soil is not left depleted after harvesting. The methodology is also intended to optimise water usage and ensure zero wastage of it.
This first project will be rapid growth teak plantations and will eventually cover 15 000 ha of land. The deal is structured in such a way as to transform local communities and have a vast impact on the living standards of people in the region, from infrastructure to quality of life.
